The restaurant features a large, covered outdoor space along the boardwalk and an expansive indoor room with festive, casual décor and a full bar. Our private dining room and the larger ballroom at the Ramada Oceanfront Resort can accommodate parties from 8 to 200.

Mahi Mah’s Executive Chef, Chris McCandless, has been on a recent culinary tear slicing and dicing the local competition. Chef Chris claimed top honors by placing first in both the Critic’s and People’s Choice awards at the Knife & Fork culinary competition during the recent International Special Events Society (ISES) with his Carolina Pork Melt, collards and pecan pie fritters. The award winning Carolina Pork Melt will be available on the new Mahi Mah’s menu which is slated to debut in early April.

On April, 11 2015, Chef Chris and Team Mahi Mah’s took to the 24th Street Park to face off against fifteen of Southeastern Virginia’s most prestigious restaurants all claiming to have the best She-Crab soup in the area at the 7th Annual East Coast She Crab Soup Classic. With favorable weather and over 1,200 attendees, the event was an overwhelming success. After much judge deliberation and consideration and fierce competition between the restaurants, Mahi Mah’s took second place in the highly acclaimed Critic’s Choice award.
